Gestures: Male Part 7

Some drapery practice from my Advanced Drawing for Animators class. The first image was a 15 minute pose, the other four were 5 minutes each.

Gestures: Male Part 6

Some of my figure gestures from my Advanced Drawing for Animators class. They're very rough and not all of them are great. The length of the poses were held from 30 seconds to a minute. It's probably obvious which ones were a minute.

This is with the male model from the first few posts, Jason. Some of these images with have some shape practice as well.

Female Gestures: 3

Some of my figure gestures from my Advanced Drawing for Animators class. They're very rough and not all of them are great. The length of the poses were held from 30 seconds to a minute. It's probably obvious which ones were a minute. Except that first image was 5 minutes.

These are from the female model.

I don't want to seem disrespectful or immature but...people say there is no such thing as a bad pose in life drawing classes. That second pose on the last make makes me disagree with that statement lol

Female Gestures: 2

I've got quite a few from the male model so I'll be uploading them in small doses.

Blank Slate

Hey guys, welcome to my brand new sketch blog!

For those who do not know me I am Shannon Manor and I am studying to become an animator and comic book artist. I have my own deviantart, but I decided to open up a blog to post my unfinished works or studies.

I apologize in advance that my larger sketchbook will probably be of crappy quality because it's hard to scan 18 x 24 on an 11 x 17 scanner...especially because since the 11 x 17 scanner sucks anyway.

I hope you guys will enjoy!
